How much is your light installation service?
Our light installation service starts from $35 for a basic light installation before transport fee. The exact price depends on what we have to do in order to install the light. We can tell you how much we charge to install your light if you send us an image of your light and where you would like to install it.
We define a basic light installation as the installation of a lightweight ceiling light (that does not require assembly) on or directly beside an existing lighting point.
Frequently asked questions
Can you also supply lights or do you only install?
Yes. If you have not purchased your lights or need more lights than what you have purchased, we can supply and install a few different types of lights. We keep a few basic ceiling lights, track lights, and recessed downlights in stock in our stockroom.

Can you patch holes and repaint my ceiling?
Yes, we can patch holes on your ceiling from the light that was previously installed with an additional fee. However, we generally cannot help paint your ceiling to match its existing colour because we do not provide painting services.
Can you install a chandelier light?
Maybe, but mostly no. We turn down most chandelier-related work, because those that are more elaborate and heavy may require the erection of a scaffold and special techniques to install in a safe manner.
While we have the necessary training and equipment to install chandeliers, the way that we arrange our service teams does not allow us the time and capacity to set up for chandelier installations.
With all that said, we would still love if you sent over an image of your chandelier, because we can install some chandeliers without special equipment, these would just need more time and care.
Can you install lights on a high ceiling?
Maybe. We can install lights on most ceilings under 3.2 metres in height with the standard ladder that we carry in our service vehicles. The most common floor-to-ceiling height in a HDB apartment is 2.6 metres and the most common in a condominium is 2.8 metres.
If your floor-to-ceiling height is above 3.2 metres, please tell us when you first contact us so that we have time to figure out if we can install the light on your ceiling with our standard equipment.
Can you install lights on a false ceiling?
Yes. We can install lights on false ceilings made of gypsum plasterboard, because we have the tools necessary to cut it.
